Jewelry Shark Tank Worthy
Litter Jewelry deserves some kudos for landing a deal with the Shark Tank reality TV show, at least I think so. I suppose it all goes back to that saying; one man's trash is another man's treasure.
I'm not new to this, I'm true to this. because as you may You may remember that I spoke about them back in 2010. Litter Jewelry is run by two sisters Mackenzie Burdick and Rachael Mann, and they find (and sometimes Litter Jewelry really does search places like flea markets, hardware stores, or even on the street) reclaimed chainlinks and construct them into jewelry which can be worn on almost every limb that you can think of on the human body. The two managed to snag Damon John and Mark Cuban by giving up 70% of their business.
The Litter Jewelry duo will receive a base salary and $80,000. To me, it's a lot to give up, but the jewelry business is really competitive, so I'm hoping they're able to make the most it and still grow their brand.
I can't help but wonder about Girl-Power though....real estate mogul Barbara Corcoran wasn't too pleased with what went down. The Litter Jewelry deal in her own words was "like lambs to a slaughter." Ouch. I also wonder what Lori Greiner would have offered had she been in attendance, just because she is the the resident QVC Shark Tank Go-To girl.
