Space Shuttle Charm Bracelet

Space Shuttle Charm Bracelet

I live in Brevard County on the Space Coast of Florida. We have beautiful beaches, rivers teeming with wildlife perfect for boaters and kayakers, and Port Canaveral which offers travelers international destinations with four major cruise lines. The highlight of our area has been the opportunity for locals and visitors to witness the last 30 years of Space Shuttle launches.

There have been good times and bad times. I remember driving down 528 at 1:00 in the morning and pulling over to the side of the road when I saw the sky light up like the sun was rising. It was a Space Shuttle launch that I had forgotten about. "Rocketman" by Elton John was playing on the radio, and I sat on the hood of my car and watched the Space Shuttle until it was the tiniest pinpoint of light in the black sky. Then there was the time when the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster took place. I was in history class at Cocoa Beach High School. All of  the students and teachers walked out to see the launch, and we were heartbroken to witness the plumes of smoke and debris shortly after the shuttle launched.

Many of my friends have worked on the Space Shuttle program over the years, and they will soon be retiring or moving on to other technical careers. I found a beautiful sterling silver Space Shuttle charm, and

I've also created a Space Shuttle charm bracelet that makes a great gift for fans of the Space Shuttle program and those who have devoted their careers to it featuring Swarovski crystal and sterling silver beads.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the astronauts who have lost their lives in past misssions.
