Besides, two more Kao diamonds will be put out to auction - a 16.94-carat fancy yellow and a 13.32-carat fancy pink rough stones.

It is worth saying that the Kao mine is operated by Storm Mountain Diamonds, a fully owned subsidiary of Namakwa Diamonds and situated in Lesotho, a tiny kingdom embosomed with the territory of South Africa. Whereas, Namakwa Diamonds is carrying out other mining works in both South Africa and Namibia.

According to David Kuchler, Fusion Alternatives CEO, Kao is making fame for the recovery of world-class stunning stones that include the 36.06-carat diamond called Pink Storm and sold for $15.36 million at the Fusion Alternatives and I. Henning tender in Antwerp in January 2014.
